MAY 5: AN AYURVEDIC "MINI SPRING RETREAT" with Bridget and Ingrid

Please join us for a Ayurvedic Mini Retreat for Spring!
Our retreat offers a chance to slow down and bask in the beautiful energy of nature in Springtime.

Participants will enjoy a refreshing and fun yoga class for all levels.
Bridget will lead a discussion on tapping into this season of abundant growth in Virginia with Ayurvedic methods for diet and self-care. She will offer routines to guide participants through the transition from Spring into the warmer months of Summer and each guest will get some special wellness treats to take home.
Ingrid will provide a glorious group dinner made with fresh and local ingredients based on Ayurvedic principles. Bridget and Ingrid will be available to discuss Ayurvedic principles and cooking methods during the feast.
Participants will get to take home all recipes to start on their own path of recharging during this beautiful time of year

Cost: $150 early bird. $160 after April 15

Bridget Baylin is an Ayurvedic Health Counselor at the M Clinic in Charlottesville, VA. She completed her Ayurvedic Health Counseling certification at the California College of Ayurveda in 2018. Ayurvedic Health Counseling is focused on preventive healthcare as well as health promotion with a specific focus on diet and lifestyle through traditional Ayurvedic principles and practices. Bridget is also a dedicated Ashtanga yoga practitioner, yoga teacher, painter and attorney. She works with individual and group clients to bring ancient wellness techniques to modern lifestyles and tastes. Bridget believes that unique expression, self-nourishment, and healthy routines are all crucial to living a vibrant life and promoting health. She loves to share theses ideas with all people wanting to experience increased energy, physical well-being, life enjoyment and serenity through yoga, Ayurveda and creativity.

Ingrid Berger is a private chef, small event caterer and cooking teacher in Charlottesville, Virginia. Her culinary career began in Seattle working in James Beard award-winning restaurants following her graduation from New England Culinary Institute. She has been a professional chef for over twenty years, and has had her own business in Charlottesville for the past ten years.
An appreciation for healthy eating led Ingrid to become certified in plant-based nutrition in 2016 through eCornell and the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. Combining the fundamentals of plant-based nutrition with her skills as a chef allows Ingrid to create healthful, flavorful dishes for her clientele, including guests at mind/body retreats where clean and restorative meals are paramount. Ingrid is also a yoga teacher, and during her 200 hour training program she learned about Ayurveda from Bridget. Ingrid enjoys creating dishes utilizing Ayurvedic principles and local, seasonal ingredients. For Ingrid, a well executed and complete dish has a balance of flavors, a contrast of textures, and a presentation that is both artful and natural.
