Attune yourself to your fundamental awake nature - your capacity for living in Presence. With the body as the gateway, practice somatic meditation and mindful movement to support meeting yourself, and attending to the nowness of life, with wisdom and love.
Meditations will include mindfulness, appreciative joy, and loving kindness practices. Mindful movement will utilize the framework of Alexander Technique to dwell more fully in relationship with warm hearted awareness in both movements and motivation.
Movement and meditation, coupled with guided inquiry, will foster alignment with your intentions, heartfelt desire, and inherent capacity to meet life within Presence.
No experience is required, though to meet yourself and the practice with self care, please come as you are and be prepared for the following: We will begin formal practice with mediative rest in a laying down position, for this reason, please nourish yourself with light foods up to an hour before practice. Dress comfortably for mediation and movement both on and off the mat, be sure to bring layers for both indoor and outdoor temperatures. A small notebook or journal for recording insights and other notes is helpful.
