This course is geared to familiarize the practitioner with the dynamics of the organ and visceral system. The fundamentals taught will explain Visceral Manipulation through an integrative approach. We will begin the seminar with basic Biodynamic principles by orienting to the craniosacral tides, in order to heightening palpation and listening skills. Students will be acquainted with an in-depth analysis of anatomy and physiology. Come learn how to evaluate the connection between the musculoskeletal system and the organs.
The intention of the course is to teach clinical applications to the Myofascial tissue that lie within the abdominal cavity while integrating the work with Mayan Abdominal Massage. The concept of organ motility (the inherent motion) will be discussed. Participates will be able to demonstrate how to treat restrictions in the visceral system as it relates to symptoms of pain and dysfunction.
