During this mini re(treat), we will enjoy a gentle yoga practice interwoven with poetry, visual art-making, writing, and mindfulness practices. As we awaken the Creatress within, we will focus on strengthening our connection to the feminine, claiming our inner knowing and body wisdom, and becoming artists of our everyday lives.
This is the first of a series of seasonal mini-retreats offered by Jena Leake, PhD, Registered Expressive Arts Therapist, with guest yoga instructors who have their own art practices. Blossom Dawes will lead this month’s yoga practice. Previous artistic or yoga experience is not necessary. Art materials, tea and refreshments will be provided.
